Raw Power Games is looking for a talented Freelance Programmer to support us on a contract basis starting asap. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our team to develop a custom camera plugin for our game that works with Unreal Engine 5, enhancing in-game visual experiences and user-friendly for players, content creators and marketing teams of all experience levels.

What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate with our in-house departments to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Design, develop, and implement a versatile camera plugin
  Ensure the plugin is user-friendly for players, content creators and marketing teams of all experience levels
• Ensure it is well optimized, and compatible with our game engine version.
• Test and debug the camera plugin to ensure smooth performance.
• Provide technical support and updates as needed, ensuring the plugin stays up to date with game and engine updates.
• Create easy to follow documentation of the plugin
• Regular Google meet calls to share progress and get feedback on your
  deliveries.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience as a professional C++ Engineer, preferably within the video game industry, with a proven track record of successful client- based work.
• Proven experience in game development, particularly in developing plugins or tools.
• Familiar with Unreal Engine’s interface, Actor, Pawn, and Camera systems.
• Strong Experience using Blueprints and C++ for game development.
• Experience with writing C++ interfaces that can be exposed/used through
  blueprint
• Capable of setting up key bindings and handling mouse/keyboard inputs
• Experience creating value editing user-facing interfaces
• Excellent communication skills to effectively work with non-technical team members and understand their vision, provide and ask for regular feedback during implementation
• Ability to deliver high-quality work within a specified timeline.
• Familiarity with marketing needs in the gaming industry and creating promotional content.
